Georgia Tech Library East Commons presents Short Film Thursday

"PIECES: A Display of Goodwill for Virginia Tech" (30 min)
A film by Jack Bennett

After the tragic events at Virginia Tech on April 16th, 2007, the school received more than 90,000 gifts of goodwill from all over the world. The items on display in the Squires Student Center led to this portrait of the blessing (and burden) of such a huge volume of gifts, the effort put into their display and the uncertainty of their future and ultimate value.
