There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

On Thursday, November 5th, from 5 - 6 PM in the Student Center Piedmont room, Michael-Scott Staffle, Program Manager of the Boren Awards will be on campus to tell more about this generous scholarship opportunity, and to answer questions about the application process for this national award.
Boren Scholarships and Fellowships provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to add an important international and language component to their educations. They focus on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study that are critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad.
The undergraduate scholarships award up to $20,000 for a year of overseas study. For more information, contact your campus representative, Rebecca Miller (rebecca.miller@oie.gatech.edu), in the Office of International Education, and check out the Boren website: www.borenawards.org.
