There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Selen Okcu, PhD student in Architecture, will present recent research on Soundscapes of Critical Healthcare Settings as part of the College of Architecture Research Forum. Learn how Okcu is working with Georgia Tech faculty in architecture and mechanical engineering, as well as medical faculty from Emory University, to develop innovative ways to measure, classify, and document sound.
College of Architecture Research Forums provide an informal setting for the community to learn about research within the College of Architecture. Forums are free and open to the public and participants are invited to explore ideas and identify opportunities for collaboration.
All talks are held in the Architecture Library from 11:00AM to 12:00PM on the last Thursday of August through April. Talks are 30 to 45 minutes followed by questions and discussion.
View past COA Research Forums through SMARTech, Georgia Tech’s digital repository.
