Michael Mesko is an architect based in New York City specializing in traditional design. Mr. Mesko completed his studies in architecture and urban design at the University of Notre Dame where he earned a Bachelor and Masters of Architecture. Over the past 15 years he has worked with many leading practitioners of contemporary classicism both in the United States and in England.

Currently in private practice, his work includes projects in the United States, Ireland, the UK and Spain. Mr. Meskos’ design work is marked by a passionate interest in finding enduring, sustainable, and regionally appropriate solutions for contemporary living within the patterns, language and material expression of traditional and classical design.

His work as an educator includes two years with the University of Notre Dames’ Rome Studies Program in Italy where he taught studios in Architectural Design and Architectural Drawing. In addition to practice, Mr. Mesko teaches courses on the Classical Orders and Classical Composition for the Institute for Classical Architecture in New York and at regional chapters of the ICA throughout the United States. Most recently Mr. Mesko has had the privilege of teaching design studios for Georgia Techs graduate level program in classical design.
