Speakers:

R.K. Anand, Senior Vice President of Foundation Technologies at Juniper Networks, Inc. An early employee of Juniper in 1996, starting out as an ASIC designer and subsequently in management roles, his previous role was VP Hardware Engineering of Infrastructure Products Group till 2004. Prior to Juniper, RK held engineering and management responsibilities in the microprocessor division at Sun Microsystems.

Between Aug/2004-Aug/2006 he was Founder/VP Engineering at Xsigo Systems, a Kleiner Perkins and Greylock Ventures funded startup. RK has a MS in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.

Boris Litinsky, Engineering Manager at Juniper Networks, Inc. Boris has worked at IBM, Compaq Computer, Tektronix, and Intel, developing a number of PCI Northbridge, Southbridge, Super I/O, and Graphic chips.

Most recently, at RF Micro Devices, he worked on the  industry's first wireless local area network (WLAN) chipset with PCI Express. Currently, Boris is managing the development of high-speed networking chips at Juniper Networks. During his 17 year career as a ASIC designer, he has applied for a number of patents and published papers for SNUG. Boris holds a BSEE from Lehigh University and a MSEE from Georgia Tech.
