Warm weather, pollen, and the end of testing remind us that another school year is about to wrap up. But before the 2015-16 school year ends, Georgia Tech Research Institute’s STEM@GTRI, Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC), and the Georgia Tech Institute for People and Technology (IPaT) want to invite you to a celebration of innovation. Please join us as we host a special event that showcases how local educators are effectively integrating technology into teaching and learning in engaging ways that impact student success.

During this lively and interactive evening we will see examples from classrooms, media centers, STEM labs, and community events showcasing how students in grades P-12 are reimagining learning by using technology to create content, access information, collaborate in virtual learning environments, and manage online tools and resources. This event offers a chance for the educators to share their innovations in an informal setting as you enjoy refreshments and dessert.

Dr. Sean Mulvanity from Oglethorpe Charter School in Savannah will moderate a dynamic and informative panel discussion where district and state experts on computer science and coding will share ideas about professional learning, relevant content application, and college and career readiness. Wisdom begins in wonder so we will make sure there are plenty of opportunities for you to participate in a questions and response session.
