Paper & Clay presents: Raku Pottery!

This Sunday 4/24 at 1 pm, Paper & Clay will be taking the pottery outside to fire our Raku pottery at the Campanile.  Join us to see how we use our propane-fueled Raku kiln to heat up the pottery and then use combustibles to set the pieces on fire to create a metallic finish to the pieces. Take a break from studying to see how science is a very big part of the pottery finishing process. The whole process can last a few hours, so stop by between 1 and 3 pm to see the Raku kiln in action.
