There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This Sunday 4/24 at 1 pm, Paper & Clay will be taking the pottery outside to fire our Raku pottery at the Campanile. Join us to see how we use our propane-fueled Raku kiln to heat up the pottery and then use combustibles to set the pieces on fire to create a metallic finish to the pieces. Take a break from studying to see how science is a very big part of the pottery finishing process. The whole process can last a few hours, so stop by between 1 and 3 pm to see the Raku kiln in action.
