There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. CoC Research Day is a gathering of the research in the College of Computing, established for the first time this year with the goals of 1.) showcasing the excellent work across the College for the new first-semester PhD students as well as our valued alumni and visiting parents of our undergraduates, and 2.) bringing together the faculty and students across the three Schools/Divisions of the College to foster unity and keep each other up to date on our work each year.
CoC Research Day consists of talks, posters, and demos by graduate students to complement the CoC Seminar, also in its inaugural year, which consists of full-length talks by the faculty.
11:30 am - 1 pm: Keynote presentation by Professor Yale Patt
1 pm - 3 pm: Talks (2 parallel sessions)
3 pm - 4 pm: Break for viewing posters and demos (though all posters and demos will be up during the entire period from 1-6pm)
4 pm - 6 pm: Talks (2 parallel sessions)
6 pm: Reception with cookies and refreshments
