There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This weekend, GTACM's SIGGAME will be holding the semesterly video game tournament / LAN party, GT GameFest! The event runs from 5pm on Saturday, October 24th until 8am on Sunday, October 25th in the classroom wing of the Klaus Advanced Computing Building. The event will feature 10 tournaments (full tournament list online), and there is always free play of many other games (commons ones are also listed online). Food and drinks will be provided throughout, and there will be some great prizes for tournament winners. Consoles and televisions needed for the console based events are provided; PC tournaments and play are bring your own PC (BYOPC) and LAN cable. GameFest is a collaboration between GTACM (and its SIGgame special interest group), RHA, and SGA.
