Summaries

Summary Sentence: The Convergence Innovation Competition is a semester-long event dedicated to helping students create innovative products.

Full Summary: The Convergence Innovation Competition (CIC) is a bi-annual competition that encourages students to create innovative, viable products and experiences. The Fall CIC is campus-focused and the categories are determined by our campus partners. Meanwhile, the categories of the Spring CIC are determined by our industry partners. Winning entries will include a working end-to-end prototype which operates on converged services, media, networks, services, and platforms. CIC winners go on to commercialization, other competitions, as well as internship and job opportunities strengthened by their competition experience. CIC is an annual event produced by GT-RNOC and the Institute for People and Technology (IPaT).
