No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Duke University's Team BioMetrix wins the first-ever Atlantic Coast Conference InVenture held on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology. The University of Virginia's Team Contraline takes second place and Georgia Tech's FireHUD earns the People's Choice award. Teams from all 15 ACC schools went head to head in a "Shark Tank"-style competition pitching their unique inventions, competing for $30,000 in prizes and patent filings.
