Thomas “Danny” Boston, professor of economics and international affairs in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs has been selected as the 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Atlanta Business League (ABL), the largest association of black business owners in Metro Atlanta and the oldest in the country.

In addition to his research and teaching, Boston is founder and CEO of EuQuant, an economic consulting and urban planning company which provides analytics on programs, policies, planning and business performance. The company was ranked the #2 black-owned business in Georgia. EuQuant’s business blog, the Gazelle Index® provides timely information on small business related economic developments and research on the performance of businesses owned by blacks, Latinos, Asians, women and non-minority entrepreneurs.

Boston will be formally recognized at an ABL event on May 10 at the downtown Marriott.
