There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The College of Computing would like to congratulate the winners of the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award for 2003-2004 - Gabriel Brostow and Christian Poellabauer. Brostow was selected for his dissertation "Novel Skeletal Representation for Articulated Creatures" and Poellabauer for "Q-Fabric: System Support for Continuous Online Quality Management." Brostow and Poellabauer have also been nominated by the College for the ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award. The dissertations were selected by a panel organized by Assistant Professor Tucker Balch.
