About Laura Mihill

Laura Mihill received a degree in electrical engineering and math from UCF in Orlando.  She worked initially at the Center for Research in Electro Optics and Lasers (CREOL) on the control system for the Free Electron Laser and particle accelerator before moving into defense.  She then spent a couple of years at Pratt & Whitney on the control system for the JSF and F22 engines. She joined Lockheed and served there for almost 14 years on a variety of projects including JASSM guidance systems, HIL tank simulation, and eventually the avionics test director for F22.  Ms. Mihill has been working in commercial controls for a couple of years now and is involved in a standards initiative with iQagent for the use of augmented reality in process solutions.
