The Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) is Georgia Tech's technology startup incubator. They advise, coach and mentor over 90 very early and early stage startup companies in Georgia. ATDC's mission is to build and launch successful technology companies in the State. They also host a robust education program that is open to Georgia entrepreneurs who want to learn all the different business aspects of a startup from customer discovery to financial literacy to social media strategies. ATDC supports startups in Augusta, Atlanta, Athens and Savannah through their partnerships in the Georgia entrepreneurial ecosystem.

At this week's Think Tank, we'll welcome ATDC Campus Connector Joy Hymel who provides access for the ATDC startups to Georgia Tech talent, faculty, research programs and facilities. She will lead a discussion about how ATDC and IPaT can partner in the areas of:
  • computer visualization
  • big data mining and representation
  • latest UI research
  • mobile app development
  • user experience
  • human systems integration
  • interoperability
  • many other technical areas that ATDC is open to
