Learn about the recent ideas competition to design the Living Building at Georgia Tech – a project that is expected to become the most environmentally advanced education and research building ever constructed in the Southeast.

The panel discussion will feature representatives from The Kendeda Fund and the three design teams who participated in this rather unique ideas competition.

  • Collins Cooper Carusi/Eskew + Dumez + Ripple/Hellmuth + Bicknese,
  • Perkins + Will, and
  • Lord Aeck Sargent/The Miller Hull Partnership (selected design team).

Attendees will also enjoy an exhibit of the models and concept boards that were created as part of this process to help educate the broader community about the Living Building ChallengeTM 3.0 and how it complements Georgia Tech’s overarching sustainability goals. This exhibit will be available to the public until the end of April 2016.

Guests are invited to attend a reception hosted in the Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons exhibit area (bottom floor) starting at 5:30 p.m. The panel discussion will begin at 6:15 p.m. in the auditorium located next to the exhibit.

Guests may park in the Area 2 and Area 4 visitor pay lots. Visit the Georgia Tech Parking and Transportation website for more information on campus parking and transit options.

This event is open to the public. Please RSVP if you plan to attend this event.
