President Barack Obama will be in Atlanta on Tuesday afternoon, which could cause traffic delays in parts of the downtown area.

President Obama will speak at a conference at the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel around 2:30 p.m. Rolling road closures will accommodate his motorcade traveling to and from the event, which could cause backups on Atlanta's interstates and surface streets. His departure is scheduled for around 4 p.m.

The campus community is encouraged to follow local news outlets for more information and updates on traffic conditions. Managers and supervisors are asked to be as flexible as possible in employees' needs to depart campus early or telework where appropriate.
