College of Computing Assistant Professor Subhash Khot Awarded Sloan Fellowship

February 23, 2006 - College of Computing Assistant Professor Subhash Khot has been awarded a 2006 Sloan Research Fellowship by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. These awards are intended to enhance the careers of the very best young faculty members in specified fields of science. Khot's fellowship is one of 116 awarded annually in seven fields: computer science, computational and evolutionary molecular biology, mathematics, neuroscience, economics, chemistry, and physics. Khot will receive a $45,000 grant over the next two years to support his research.
