Besedes, TiborEconomic Inquiry, a journal published by the Western Economic Association International, will publish a paper co-authored by SOE Associate Professor Tibor Besedes and Thomas J. Prusa of Rutgers University. The paper, “The Hazardous Effects of Antidumping,” shows that U.S. antidumping petitions and rulings not only reduce the volume of U.S. imports, but also completely halt imports from countries against which antidumping investigations were aimed.
