There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Mr Giarrusso's presentation titled, "It's Just Too Easy; Today's Perspective on Teaching Non-GIS Students How to Create Interactive Maps and Apps" is part of a paper session on Coding and App Development in Geography and GIS Education I at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Geographers in San Francisco, CA.
His presentation will highlight the application development tools and methods used in an introductory GIS course at Georgia Tech. Student projects will be highlighted.
