Full Summary: Do you have an invention idea that you want to file a patent on? Have you tried patent searches on your own? Do you need to learn how to conduct an effective preliminary patent search before filing? This class is designed to help inventors understand the patent search processes, and get hands-on exercises through different patent databases, such as PatFT (US granted patents database), AppFT (US published patent applications database), and Espacenet (EPO’s patent database), together with using the patent classification systems, such as CPC (Cooperative Patent Classification).
