There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dr. Kim Nelson from American Process Inc. will present the latest developments in nanocellulose technology, April 26 at 4:30 p.m. in room 114 at the Paper Tricentennial Buildling. Dr. Nelson will be featured in the lecture and seminar series sponsored by RBI and the Student Chapter of TAPPI at Georgia Tech.
Nelson, Vice President of Nanocellulose Technology Development, received her Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2007. She has nine-plus years of industry experience with American Process Inc., where she was the lead inventor of API's BioPlus™ nanocellulose technology, U.S. Patent No. 9,187,865.
