Transportation Study Wins Best Paper at 21st Annual Principles of Advanced and Distributed Simulation Conference

(June 21, 2007) - Regents' Professor and Chair of the Computational Science & Engineering Division Richard Fujimoto and civil engineering faculty and students won the best paper award for "Ad Hoc Distributed Simulations" at the 21st annual Principles of Advanced and Distributed Simulation (PADS) conference held in San Diego as part of the ACM Federated Computing Research Conference (FCRC) last week in San Diego.

Fujimoto wrote the paper with School of Civil and Environmental Engineering Assistant Professor Michael Hunter and students Jason Sirichoke, Mahesh Palekar, Hoe Kim, and Wonho Suh.

PADS is the oldest conference in the parallel and distributed simulation field. For more information on the PADS conference, visit the conference website.
