There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. TIME discussed Adventure Capitalist, available for PCs and mobile devices, came out of nowhere a year ago, part of the so-called “clicker” fad. It means just what it sounds like: games where you click (or tap) stuff as fast as you can. Others you may have heard of include Cookie Clicker, Candy Box and of course critic and academic Ian Bogost’s (Georgia Tech) delightfully subversive Cow Clicker.
