LIVE CODING CONCERT

Monday, April 4, 2016, 8pm, FREE ADMISSION
The Academy of Medicine
875 W Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309

Live coding is the practice of real-time music improvisation using computer code. Laptop performers write code on the fly, in performance, to define the algorithms that generate the music, all as the audience watches a projection of the performer’s screen. Also featured in this concert are performances by composers who have designed custom synthesizers and visual art in the browser. This concert will show five different perspectives on the web browser as an audiovisual instrument.
