The Griffin High School robotics team will represent AMP-IT-UP by participating in the Exploration Expo at the Atlanta Science Festival on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 11am-5pm at Centennial Olympic Park. The Expo will promote science exploration, discovery and innovation with more than 100 interactive exhibits, hands-on experiments, mind-blowing demos, and science-themed performances. Adults, children and families are encouraged to attend this free celebration of science.

Come to "Makers Meet" to compete in Georgia Tech's Hungry Hungry Robots and Robo Dash to enjoy fun filled adventures with family and friends! The first activity in the exhibit booth is the Robo Dash, a timed obstacle course in which participants maneuver a LEGO-based robot through. The run time is approximately 2 minutes, but it depends on the skill level of the participant. The second activity is Hungry Hungry Robots where participants race against time to collect as many balls of their color with a wirelessly controlled robot.  No need to worry, all ages can participate with no prior robotics experience!
