School of Architecture hosts 40-hour NABCEP Training: Advanced PV Fundamentals and Design

June13-21: SOA hosts 40-hour NABCEP training: Advanced PV Fundamentals and Design

Day 1-3: June 13-15, 2016 (M-W)

Day 4-5: June 20-21, 2016 (M-Tu)

All five days will be from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM with a morning break, a lunch break, and an afternoon break. Catered lunch will be provided.

 

NABCEP PV Installation Professional qualifier

This course is designed to prepare students for a deep understanding of work as a PV installation professional. In depth coverage of the National Electric Code (NEC 2014) and other best practices is presented for residential and commercial-scale systems. Lessons dive into site preplanning, technology system components, system sizing, mechanical integration, electrical integration, utility connection, inspection and commissioning, operations/maintenance/troubleshooting, and economic analysis.
