Eight members of the Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts have been selected to receive the Class of 1940 Course Survey Teaching Effectiveness Award for the 2014 - 2015 academic year.
Full-time Faculty: Anne Pollock (LMC), John Matthew Smith (HSOC), and Lisa Yaszek (LMC)
LMC Brittain Fellows: Charles Clinton Stivers
Lecturers (all are from the School of Modern Languages): Lionel Gall (French), Kathrin Köppe (German), Natalia Myshkin (Russian), and Melissa Pilkington (Spanish)
The awards are given by the Georgia Tech Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) and recognizes faculty members who were rated highly by students on the Course-Instructor Opinion Survey (CIOS). The eight teachers from Ivan Allen are among the 40 selected for recognition throughout the Institute.
