The College remembers our colleague Dr. Wister Cook who passed away on January 13, 2016.

Cook taught English at Georgia Tech from 1966 to 1998. She loved literature, art, music, and travel, and she was active in her church and its community outreach programs. 

Cook attended Judson College for undergraduate studies, and she earned a master's degree from the University of Arkansas and a Ph.D. from Auburn University.

A memorial service for Dr. Cook was held on Saturday, January 17.
