The Student Government Association and the Office of Government and Community Affairs would like to invite you to the first-ever Georgia Tech Student Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, February 9th from 9am to noon at the Georgia State Capitol! Join SGA leaders and the Institute’s President, Dr. G. P. ‘Bud’ Peterson, in showcasing Georgia Tech’s contributions to our state, nation, and international community!

Should you choose to attend, you will have the opportunity to meet a variety of legislators who directly impact Georgia Tech’s future. If you are a Georgia resident, you will also have an opportunity to meet your local Representative or Senator. You will also get a chance to tour the historic State Capitol, which stands as a symbol of Georgia’s distinguished history. Transportation to and from the Capitol will be taken care of. Let us show the Legislature that we care about the future of our great school, and that Georgia Tech needs the State’s support.

Please email Imran Ali (MIAli89@gmail.com), Student Lobby Board Chair if you are interested in attending this event. The deadline to reserve a spot is January 30.
