No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. For his service and leadership on the Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel that was formed in the aftermath of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster, ISyE Professor Augustine Esogbue has received NASA's Space Flight Team Awareness Award and its Public Service Medal.
Esogbue was also installed as a 2006 Laureate of the Nigerian National Order of Merti by Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, who noted his "contributions to scholarship and research which have contributed in notsmall way to national development inthe field of engineering and technology."
