An emerging voice in computer science theory and algothrim efficiency, Anup Rao is a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Computer Science in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is affiliated with Georgia Tech’s Algorithms and Randomness Center (ARC). Rao’s research interests are in algorithms, optimization and combinatorics. He earned a bachelor’s in engineering physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a doctorate in mathematics from Yale University.
