Karan Gandhi was presented the 2008 International Student Leadership Award at this year's Up with the White and Gold Ceremony on April 24th. Karan, a student at GT since Fall 2005, earned a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering and a Master's in Industrial Engineering as of this May.

He developed effective leadership skills throughout his time at Tech through involvement with multiple student organizations and participation in statewide and international conferences. Congratulations, Karan! The Office of International Organization and the Stewart School of ISyE wishes you continued success in your upcoming endeavors and well into the future.

The International Student Leadership Award, now in its third year, is presented by the Office of International Education to one international student each spring that has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and contributed significantly to our campus. It is a great accomplishment to establish oneself as a leader on campus in an entirely different country far away from your own.
