There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. A computer scientist and adjunct senior research scientist with the School of Computer Science in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Spencer Rugaber has worked both in industry and in academia, as well as served as program director for the Software Engineering and Languages Program at the National Science Foundation. A noted author, Rugaber wrote “LogiQL, a Query Language for Smart Databases” -- an article on program understanding included in the “Encyclopedia of Computer Science and Technology,” and numerous software engineering articles appearing in technical journals and conference proceedings. His research interests are in the area of software engineering, human-computer interaction, and cognitive science.
