The College of Architecture and the College of Sciences are cosponsoring a lecture that has huge implications for both. S. Rutt Bridges ('73 Physics, MS '75 Geosciences) is the author of The Driverless Revolution: Buy Mobility, Not Metal, which makes a business case for driverless cars. His research focuses on the economic and social impact of disruptive innovations.
Bridges is the founder of Colorado's Bighorn Center for Public Policy, a non-partisan think tank, and he currently serves on the Securing America's Future (SAFE) Driverless Vehicle Task Force as well as Georgia Tech's Cllege of Sciences Advisory Board.
