There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

CostVision,a Denver, CO firm, and the PSLM Center at Georgia Tech (http://www.pslm.gatech.edu/) have launched a research collaboration funded by the Air Force Research Labs. The project seeks to develop and demonstrate novel approaches to allow partners in a defense acquisition program to share key performance data from detailed simulation models without having to share the simulation models themselves. In addition to protecting proprietary manufacturing information, the approach should enable more complete modeling of the value chain during program development and planning than might otherwise be possible. Rockwell Collins and Boeing also are involved in the project.
The group meet in November at USMBE (US Model Based Enterprise) in Cincinnati to launch the project.
