There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The European Union Center of Excellence at Georgia Tech is honored to welcome Klaus Scharioth, ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the United States of America, and Pierre Vimont, ambassador of The French Republic to the United States of America, to Georgia Tech for a discussion of the state of the EU and EU-US relations as we enter a new decade.
During this stimulating and informative session, the ambassadors will share their views on the implications of the Lisbon Treaty for the European Union and the transatlantic relationship. The talk will be moderated by Dr. Vicki Birchfield, director of the EU Center of Excellence, and will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
