Topic of Discussion? Campus-wide LMS Pilot project

Kim White, IT Project Manager Principal for OIT, and Pam Buffington, Director of Platform Technologies for C21U, will present a general project overview and status update as we kick-off a semester-long pilot of Canvas. Faculty interested in becoming involved with this pilot will find out how they can plug into this effort.

Preliminary LMS requirements and strategy for gathering faculty (and student) input will be discussed. This includes:

  • leveraging benchmark data from peer and other institutions
  • high level requirement categories and draft document on lms.gatech.edu website
  • requests for faculty to contribute to requirements, comments and special use case via comments link or form

Campus Vendor Day, which will occur in February, and details about the LMS Experience Lab will also be discussed.
