There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Topic of Discussion? Campus-wide LMS Pilot project
Kim White, IT Project Manager Principal for OIT, and Pam Buffington, Director of Platform Technologies for C21U, will present a general project overview and status update as we kick-off a semester-long pilot of Canvas. Faculty interested in becoming involved with this pilot will find out how they can plug into this effort.
Preliminary LMS requirements and strategy for gathering faculty (and student) input will be discussed. This includes:
Campus Vendor Day, which will occur in February, and details about the LMS Experience Lab will also be discussed.
