There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Professor Bistra Dilkina (CSE) will help lead a $10-million reasearch endeavor that aims to apply computational techniques to support sustainable development in harmony with environmental, economic and societal factors. "CompSustNet" -- spearheaded by Cornell University (Dilkina's alma mater) -- will act as an international research and education network and is funded by the National Science Foundation. Dilkina will serve on the Executive Council, where Georgia Tech sits alongside 11 other leading institutions nationwide.
