Tom Dierking, IDSA, is global design director of innovation capability at Procter & Gamble (P&G). A passionate of advocate of design, Tom has been driving the convergence of multi-disciplinary innovation for over 20 years with one of the world's best company of brands with a stated mission of touching lives and improving life of the world's consumers. Tom has been especially focusing in the area of design-inspired innovation and bringing to life new experiences in consumer-relevant ways. Capitalizing on P&G's growing awareness of the power of design, Tom has driven design through experiential learning with all of the senior leadership of the company, leveraged design thinking on brands and company strategy initiatives, and delivered design-inspired organizational changes to improve the effectives of operations in virtually every function.

Over the course of his career with P&G, Tom has made significant contributions to some of the company's largest brands. From communication design, product design and innovation platforms spanning multiple categories, Tom has led initiatives on brands such as Pampers, Tide and Pantene. Today, with a focus on inspiring and propelling innovative practices, he is pursuing broad application of design thinking to simplify the complexities of consumer choice to improve the lives of all the world's consumers. Tom is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning with a BS in industrial design and a minor in business administration.
