Georgia Tech’s office of the vice president of government and community relations welcomes a new assistant director of federal relations this week.
Jeff Cullen, who assumed this role Jan. 4, comes to Tech from the British Consulate-General in Atlanta, where he served as head of science and innovation. Cullen will be based on campus and will report to Robert Knotts, Tech’s director of federal relations based in Washington, D.C.
Prior to his time at the British Consulate, Cullen handled legislative affairs as a contractor for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Cullen began his career on Capitol Hill working for a member of Congress and for the House Committee on Armed Services.
