There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Bloodborne pathogens are of great concern to researchers dealing with human tissues, organs, cell lines, blood, or other bodily fluids. The course teaches students universal precautions as well as the causes of bloodborne diseases, proper personal protective equipment, and the regulatory basis for a bloodborne pathogens program.
Who Should Attend? All current and prospective Georgia Tech faculty, staff, and students that conduct research in the laboratory environment that involves human materials of any type. This training should be retaken annually.
