Segulharpa - Electromagnetic Harp instrument

The Segulharpa is a semi-finalist for the 2016 Margaret Guthman Musical Instrument Competition. The contest, hosted by the Georgia Institute of Technology, showcases the best new ideas in design, engineering and musicianship. The Segulharpa is an electronic musical instrument that produces completely acoustic music. The instrument is a 25-string harp and generates its tones using special types of electromagnetic actuation modules.
