There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The Nano@Tech lecture series continues with Dr. Gangli Wang, assistant professor at Georgia State University, on "Novel Transfer Behavior at Single Nanopore Characterized by Impedance Techniques."
Abstract:
This talk will discuss novel mass transfer behavior through interfacial area in a single nanosized pore. A microscopic view of mass transfer through nanoscale interfacial region is probed by the combined voltammetric and impedance techniques. Results of single molecule sensing based on the novel nanopore impedance strategy will be presented.
Due to budget restraints, the Nano@Tech seminar series will be providing lunch only to those who have pre-registered. If you plan to attend the seminar, please RSVP by Monday, December 7, 2009 at the link below:
