The Design and Technology for Healthy Aging Initiative at Georgia Tech welcomes MaryLea Quinn, who will discuss home modifications strategies for aging in place.

Quinn is the community care coordinator for My AccessABLE home in metro Atlanta and its surrounding counties. MAH is a Home Modification company that specializes in adapting homes for age-related mobility issues or disability and assisting clients with creating a comprehensive plan for aging in their home for a lifetime. Our CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) professional and our social workers are involved in creating a concept to completion plan that meets the needs of the homeowner for the long term. MaryLea is a Social Worker with a Masters Degree from the University of Denver. She has over 9 years of experience working with seniors in hospice, home health and nursing home environments. She is also the co-chair of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the National Aging in Place Council and was the founder of the local chapter.
