There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Congratulations! You are about to become one of the first graduates of Georgia Tech's OMS CS program, and we want to celebrate the trailblazers who helped make a success of this revolutionary approach to advanced CS education. In addition to our normal graduation-time events, the College of Computing is holding a special reception just for our OMS students and inviting many of the Georgia Tech faculty and staff you've come to know during the program.
The reception will be held Friday, Dec. 11, from 4-6pm at the Hilton Garden Inn/Homewood Suites Atlanta Midtown. Families and graduates will have the opportunity to take photos and not only meet Dean Zvi Galil and other College of Computing professors and staff, but also meet their fellow OMS students in person! You've helped us launch the program—now we invite you to help us create the traditions to be enjoyed by OMS CS graduates for years to come.
Make a day out of your graduation celebration!
We encourage visitors to park at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center or any visitor lots throughout campus if you come before the OMS CS reception. There will be shuttles starting at 2:30pm running from the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center to the Student Center for the President's Celebration. You can also hop on the Georgia Tech Trolley at Tech Square (or anywhere on campus) to get to the Klaus Advanced Computing Building. The shuttles will run up to an hour after Commencement back to the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.
The College of Computing will be providing private shuttle services from the Student Center to the Hilton Garden Inn at 3:45pm. The pick up location will be at the Student Center Trolley Stop at Ferst Drive and Tech Pkwy. The private shuttle will also take guests from the Hilton Garden Inn to McCamish Pavilion at 5:30pm and 6pm. You may also drive and park at the Hilton for $10 and keep your car there during Commencement, but it must be moved at midnight. You will have to walk back to the Hilton Garden Inn after Commencement, if you plan to park at the Hilton Hotel.
