Full Summary: Tech alumnus David Phelps, president and CEO of CreoSalus Inc., delivers the 2009 Harold W. Gegenheimer Lecture Series on Innovation.

School of Mechanical Engineering alumnus David Phelps, president and CEO of CreoSalus Inc., presents the Annual Harold W. Gegenheimer Lecture Series on Innovation. Titled "No Experience Required: How Lack of Experience and Knowledge of an Industry is an Advantage to Developing Innovative Next-Generation Products," the lecture will be given at the Ferst Center for the Arts at 11 a.m.

CreoSalus is the world's most comprehensive peptide science company. The lecture will discuss the development of the company's Multiple Peptide Synthesizer.

Established in 1995, the Harold W. Gegenheimer Lecture Series on Innovation is presented by the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. A reception will be held after the lecture in the second-floor atrium of the Love Building.
