Each year the Administrative Service Award is given to honor an individual for making an extraordinary contribution to Georgia Tech in an administrative capacity. A $2,500 award and a plaque will be presented at the Faculty and Staff Honors Luncheon.

Each year the Administrative Service Award is given to honor an individual for making an extraordinary contribution to Georgia Tech in an administrative capacity. This award complements teaching and research awards given to faculty members. Nominees should demonstrate work which rises above and beyond their standard job descriptions. Their work should have a positive impact that extends outside their immediate department and actively contributes to the fulfillment of the Institute's mission. 

The Administrative Service Award Committee is soliciting nominations for the 2009-2010 Administrative Service Award. All regular employees with three or more years of service are eligible, excluding recipients of the award within the last 10 years. Nominations should include a nomination form along with letters of appreciation and/or support of the nomination. A $2,500 award and a plaque will be presented at the Faculty and Staff Honors Luncheon on April 15, 2010.

Nomination packages should be submitted to Lew Lefton, School of Mathematics, 159 Skiles Building, mail code 0160, no later than January 8, 2010.
