GT HEROs, TOMS Shoes and the musicians of the bands Hanson and Hello-Goodbye are raising awareness about AIDS & TOMS Shoes one step at a time. The Georgia Tech community is invited to walk one mile, shoes optional, to raise money for AIDS victims. For each person that walks, Hanson will donate a dollar to help alleviate poverty and AIDS. Hanson will also provide acoustic entertainment after the walk and give away free tickets to their upcoming concert. Students may view the performance for free with a valid buzz card. The price of admission for Faculty, staff, and other participants $10.50. The walk begins at 12:30 p.m. in front of the Kessler Campanile (located by the student center).
