How accessible is your research? Will your published work be available in ten years? 50? 100? Learn how to increase access to your published research and ensure its continued availability at this workshop.
Sara Fuchs, Digital Initiatives Librarian in the Department of Scholarly Communication and Digital Services, will show participants how to:
* Research the copyright restrictions on their published articles.
* Retain the copyright for any future articles they publish by the use of copyright addendums.
* Use SMARTech, Georgia Tech's institutional repository, to deposit their scholarship and research.

Join us for this workshop and find out how publishing tools offered through EPAGE@Tech (Electronic Publishing At GEorgia Tech ) can help you connect with students, faculty, and professionals at Georgia Tech and around the globe. Julie G. Speer, Head of Scholarly Communication and Digital Services, will highlight what's currently offered and some examples of how faculty are using these tools to archive their research, publish open access journals and conference proceedings, and capture lecture series.
